How to get there

From Panama City : After crossing the Bridge of the Americas , follow the signs that mark the exit Panama Pacific. On exit, turn right and stay in the right lane until you reach the main entrance of Panama Pacific. From this point , count six innings left. In the sixth inning there is a security gate with a sign that says "Nueva Vida Foundation " . Turn left and follow the signs to the offices (up the hill to the right) or continue straight to the main building in front of the chapel.

About Nueva Vida

Butterfly metamorphosis towards the fullness of life symbolizes the mission of the Foundation.

Nueva Vida Foundation is a non-denominational and non-profit institution. Its purpose is to give elderly people the opportunity to live a decent life in a community environment and human solidarity . It is a work of social significance that gives relatives of residents also a new life, to relieve the responsibility of caring for their loved ones when their physical and spiritual needs exceed the resources and expertise of the family. The symbol of the Foundation is the butterfly , whose evolution towards the fullness of life reflects the mission of the Foundation.

Our mission

Hi everyone,

In this blog we will be publishing our experiences and achievements of the project that we are working on. We called this project: Nosotras y Nueva Vida. The project consists on improving the conditions of Nueva Vida asylum, many students of various faculties will be helping in this project, we, as students as Bilingual Communication, we will be in charge of creating dynamics to entertain the elderlies so that they could be more happy and relaxed while staying at the asylum, also we will be in charge of creating a database for the better organization of the information that they already have and further.

Right now, in general, the conditions of the asylum are not very optimal, so with this project, we hope to help in many ways those grandpas and grannies.
